BAE Systems has rebranded its Saudi Arabia-based U.S. office in an effort to boost industrial partnerships within the region, Arab News reported Tuesday.
The company’s former Land Services Arabia unit was renamed BAE Systems Saudi America to represent the organization’s delivery of in-country services and collaboration with customers and partners from Saudi.
The report noted the U.S. Embassy in Riyadh held a formal event where the name change occurred.
John Godfrey, acting deputy chief of mission at the U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia, said U.S. President Donald Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia helped set the groundwork for cooperation between the two countries.
Godfrey added BAE Systems Saudi American has begun projects that will establish industrial partnerships in Saudi Arabia.
