An Israel Aerospace Industries subsidiary has secured a potential $39.3 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide counter-unmanned aerial system supplies to the U.S. Strategic Command.
ELTA North America will deliver the counter-UAS equipment in support of Stratcom’s joint emergent operational requirements, the Defense Department said Wednesday.
Contract work is scheduled to be completed by March 27, 2018.
The Air Force obligated $19.2 million in fiscal 2016 and 2018 procurement funds at the time of award.
Annapolis Junction, Maryland-based ELTA North America designs, manufactures and offers support services for ground, maritime, airborne and security electronic systems designed for use by U.S. government customers.
