American Systems has received a potential five-year, $6.9 million task order to provide support services to the Air Education and Training Command headquartered at Joint Base San Antonio-Randolph in Texas.
The company said Wednesday it will help AETC manage support for Tier 1 and Tier 2 clients, automatic data processing equipment and video teleconference and unit software licenses under the single-award task order.
JBSA consolidates U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force installation support functions that were previously managed at Fort Sam Houston and AF bases in Randolph and Lackland.
“We are proud to be able to provide mission support to our nation’s largest and most vital joint base,” said Peter Smith, American Systems president and CEO.
The Air Force awarded the task order through the Network Centric Solutions-2Â Network Operations and Infrastructure Solutions contract vehicle.
