OSI Systems‘ security division has received a $21 million contract to supply X-ray based scanning equipment for an international customs agency’s cargo and vehicle inspections.
The contract includes a multiyear service provision for OSI Systems to provide integration and follow-on maintenance and support of Rapiscan Eagle G60 inspection systems, the company said Tuesday.
Eagle G60 is designed to automatically scan dense cargo.
OSI Systems Chairman and CEO Deepak Chopra said the company aims to help the customer agency deploy and maintain gantry-based cargo and vehicle inspection systems.
