Chris Pehrson, vice president for Defense Department strategic development at General Atomics’ aeronautical systems business, will serve as a guest speaker at Technology Training Corp.-hosted Unmanned Aircraft Systems East for Defense and Government symposium that will kick off Saturday, Nov. 7, in Washington, D.C.
Pehrson is one of the 24 guest presenters who will discuss emerging UAS requirements among defense and federal agencies, Federal Aviation Administration rules on drones and National Airspace System regulations at the two-day event, TTC said Thursday.
Guest speakers will also touch upon UAS-related mission opportunities and emerging capabilities, DoD program analysis and maritime and homeland security updates on the use of drones.
Speakers also include senior executives from industry and government institutions such as the Department of Homeland Security, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, Northrop Grumman, Harris and AeroVironment.
