Engility has received a $9.3 million contract modification to update additional electronic warfare weapons systems used on manned and unmanned aerial vehicles, training systems and other electronic attack platforms for the U.S. Navy and the Australian government.
The Defense Department said Monday the modification covers EW systems development, systems engineering, hardware and software engineering, data and threat analysis, mission planning, jammer development, logistics, testing and evaluation services.
The company will modify EW technology upgrades on aircraft platforms such as EA-6B, EA-18G, E-2C, MH-60R, BAMS and P-8A.
Work will take place in California through September 2018.
The Navy obligated a total of $254,500 in fiscal 2017 and 2018 funds and Australia provided $337,000 in foreign military sales funds at the time of award.
