Riverbed Technology has facilitated discussions on government cloud adoption at the company’s first annual “Disrupt” event for public sector leaders in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday.
The event featured a keynote speech from Hansang Bae, Riverbed chief technology officer, where he discussed how federal agencies can deploy software-defined wide area network to simplify cloud systems, the company said Tuesday.
Davis Johnson, Riverbed vice president for the U.S. public sector, said the Disrupt event is designed to encourage federal leaders “to engage in a thoughtful dialogue and uncover unique ways to approach cloud adoption and digital transformation.”
The conference included panels and breakout sessions on a 2018 federal technology market forecast as well as ways to develop a smarter federal network and increase cloud migration proficiency.
Riverbed partners also held live demonstrations on user experience, network visibility, Office 365 tools and others.
