A business group within Comtech Telecommunications‘ government solutions segment has received a $7.5 million order to provide troposcatter equipment for deployment to U.S. Army operations across the Korean Peninsula.
Comtech said Tuesday its systems unit will produce major components of the troposcatter equipment that the command and control technologies group will deliver to the service branch.
Fred Kornberg, Comtech Telecommunications president and CEO, said a troposcatter will aid the Army’s critical communications as the service branch looks to increase readiness on the Korean Peninsula.
