BAE Systems has signed an agreement to lease a portion of its flight training center in New South Wales, Australia, to CAE‘s Oxford Aviation Training Academy.
CAE will use leased space at BAE’s Tamworth facility as a training ground for commercial pilot trainees, BAE said Tuesday.
“We are working collaboratively with local community leaders to consider options for the site that will maximize the use of the facilities,” said Glynn Phillips, CEO at BAE Systems.
BAE currently provides training services to military clients from Australia, Singapore, Brunei and Papua New Guinea.
