Andy Beamon, senior director of Maximus‘ federal business, will join a panel discussion on citizen engagement centers during the Digital Government Institute’s annual Government Customer Experience Conference on Wednesday.
He will discuss the potential impact of digital technologies such as artificial intelligence and virtual assistants on the evolution of public services, Maximus said Tuesday.
“Citizens’ expectations for customer service are the same for government as they are for the private sector,” said Beamon.
“I look forward to sharing my thoughts on how technology can help agencies meet both goals.”
Other panelists include Robert Genesoni, chief of the Customer Engagement Center at the Department of Homeland Security; Rosetta Lue, senior adviser of contact center modernization at the Department of Veterans Affairs; and John Yuda, acting director of public experience portfolio at the General Services Administration.
DGI’s 17th Government Customer Experience Conference will take place in Washington and highlight applications, policies and technologies that affect the development of customer experience and citizen services across mobile, online and social media platforms.
