ManTech International has picked Kaplan University to administer cyber programs that are geared toward Certified Information Systems Security Professional certification or bachelor’s and master’s degrees in cybersecurity for the company’s employees.
The Kaplan courses will be tailored to ManTech personnel and offered online, the company announced Monday.
“The best weapons in the cyber domain are knowledge and hands-on experience,” said Kevin Phillips, president and chief operating officer at ManTech.
Phillips, an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2017, added that ManTech’s cyber education initiative aims to build on the company’s cyber capabilities to support clients.
“When we introduced our bachelor’s and master’s degrees in cybersecurity more than two years ago, we recognized a big and growing need for educational support for working adult learners in this field,” noted Betty Vandenbosch, president at Kaplan University.
ManTech is a contributor of technology services to security and intelligence programs for government branches including the Defense Department, Department of Homeland Security and FBI.
