Leidos has received a potential $47 million contract the Defense Intelligence Agency to develop a technology platform for U.S. intelligence agencies to retrieve information from documents and media sources.
The company said Tuesday it will use a microservice architecture that employs free and open source software in efforts to build the Document Exploitation Data Discovery Platform platform for DIA’s National Media Exploitation Center.
Mike Chagnon, a Leidos group president, said the company aims to help the intelligence community access DOMEX information with D3P technology.
Contract work covers software development; systems engineering and integration; data science and engineering; and enterprise information technology services.
Leidos will carry out the project in Bethesda, Maryland.
