Jimmy Pappas, formerly a managing director of professional services company PwC, has been named a partner at Grant Thornton‘s forensic advisory services business.
Grant Thornton said Friday the more than 20-year forensic and audit accounting veteran will be responsible for helping expand the firm’s forensic accounting, civil litigation, corporate governance and internal investigation service offerings in his new position.
Pappas also previously served as a principal at CBIZ Topias as well as held managing director roles at Alvarez & Marsal and daSilvaPappas LLC.
The certified public accountant also worked for Deloitte and EY.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, Association of Certified Fraud Examiners and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
