Janus Global Operations will provide security and risk management services in support of a Malaysia-based international oil company’s central Iraq operations under a two-year contract.
JGO said Wednesday it will assign 600 employees to perform contract work to support the customer’s personnel as part of oil exploration activities in central Iraq.
Matt Kaye, CEO at JGO, stated that the company has experienced working in Iraq for over 13 years for government and commercial operations concerning demining, munitions management, unexploded remnants-of-war clearance and security.
JGO, which has an existing 10-year relationship with the Malaysian company, is a provider of stability operations services and caters to clients in North America, Asia, Africa and Europe.
