Homeland Security Solutions Inc. has received a $17.1 million contract for program management, human resources and training services to the U.S. Marine Corps.
HSSI will also provide non-guard security support to the military branch and is scheduled to complete work under the sole-source contract by March 10, 2018, the Defense Department said Monday.
DoD noted that USMC will obligate $5.8 million in fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
Work will occur at USMC facilities in California, Hawaii, as well as various locations in Washington, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Arizona and Japan.
Hampton, Virginia-based HSSI is an employee-owned company that offers professional services to the military and public safety sectors.
