Harris has unveiled a communications security feature for the company’s Falcon III AN/PRC-117G manpack radio system.
The Suite B encryption tool is designed to help military users of Falcon III switch between independent and U.S. or NATO networks, Harris said Tuesday.
The company developed the technology to also integrate with additional waveforms designed for individual and joint missions.
Chris Young, president of Harris’ communications systems business, said Suite B will work to help NATO forces use 117G multiband radio technology in battlefield operations that require multimission systems.
