Danny Toler, former acting assistant secretary of the Department of Homeland Security‘s cybersecurity and communications office, has been named senior vice president of diplomatic portfolio and cyber practice at Acuity.
Reston, Virginia-based Acuity said Tuesday the more than 35-year federal service veteran will lead its cybersecurity practice and help drive expansion initiatives within the company’s foreign affairs business.
Toler previously served as director of network security deployment and deputy director of federal network resilience at DHS.
He also worked at the State Department for 12 years in positions such as director of the office of enterprise network management and division chief of network engineering and design.
Toler holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management from the Charleston Southern University.
Acuity offers management and technology consulting services to the federal government.
