EYÂ has received a potential $44.2 million contract from the Defense Finance and Accounting Service to provide financial statement audit services for the U.S. Air Force‘s general and working capital funds.
The Defense Department said Thursday the company will also conduct an SSAE18 assessment of the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System.
DFAS received one bid for the labor-hour contract that contains a 16-month base period along with three-one year options.
The full obligated amount at the time of award is from the Air Force’s fiscal 2017Â operations and maintenance funds.
EY will perform initial contract work in Washington through Dec. 31, 2018.
