Ed Sheehan, president and CEO of Concurrent Technologies Corp., is among the featured speakers who will present during the two-day Nuclear Energy Leadership Summit and Showcase that will kick off Oct. 3 at the Shiloh Inn Convention Center in Idaho.
Sheehan will talk about CTC’s Richland Township, Pennsylvania-based Center for Advanced Nuclear Manufacturing the company opened in August to design compact modular reactors for nuclear plants.
Representatives from the nuclear energy industry, Energy Department and the Idaho National Laboratory will deliver keynote speeches at the summit to discuss the nuclear energy market landscape, emerging business opportunities, additive manufacturing and the workforce skills gap.
The event will also feature an industry showcase meant to provide companies, suppliers and innovators an opportunity to present new technologies to attendees.
