CAE has partnered with a research laboratory at Canada-based business school HEC Montreal to build up aviators’ performance through research on user experience in flight simulators.
CAE said Tuesday it will collaborate with the school’s Tech3Lab to use big data analysis, neuroscience and biometrics to study pilots’ behaviors in a training environment.
Marc St-Hilaire, vice president of technology and innovation at CAE, said the partnership seeks to facilitate analysis of key factors for flight simulator-based training.
The company and Tech3Lab entered the collaborative agreement through the Institute for Data Valorisation.
