The U.S. Navy has awarded Aviation Training Consulting a potential four-year, $43.7 million contract to provide aircrew and maintenance training products for Kuwait’s KC-130J tanker aircraft as part of a foreign military sales deal.
Aviation Training Consulting will also support L-100 transport aircraft transition training of the Kuwaiti air force under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Defense Department said Thursday.
DoD added that the company will assist and advise KAF on operational use of both KC-130J and L-100 platforms.
Ninety-five percent of the work will occur in Kuwait and other allied nations while the rest will take place in Altus, Oklahoma.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division obligated the full contract amount at the time of award from foreign military sales funds.
Oklahoma-based Aviation Training Consulting offers engineering, manufacturing and development, training support, strategic studies and analysis services.
