AT&T has secured a potential five-year, $35.8 million contract for the provision of integrated instant messaging, chat, voice, video, presence and screen sharing services to the U.S. Army.
The Defense Department said Friday the Army Contracting Command received seven bids for the firm-fixed-price contract through an online-based solicitation.
The military branch obligated the full contract amount at the time of award from its operations and maintenance funds in fiscal 2017.
AT&T will perform work in Oakton, Virginia, and is scheduled to finish Sept. 14, 2022.
