Raytheon Chairman and CEO Thomas Kennedy has said that state-sponsored theft of intellectual property poses a challenge to the U.S. defense industry and military.
He voiced his support for President Donald Trump’s memorandum that directs the U.S. Trade Representative to study whether the U.S. government should formally investigate China for trade practices that allegedly lead to the theft of U.S. businesses’ IP rights.
Kennedy, an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2017, added the illegal practice harms national security and economy of the U.S.
