Cybernance has partnered with PointStream to offer a cyber risk assessment platform to government agencies through the latter’s position on the General Services Administration‘s Information Technology Schedule 70 contract vehicle.
Cybernance Platform is a software-as-a-service offering that works to identify cyber risks facing organizations, the company said Thursday.
The SaaS platform is designed to aid government clients’ compliance with President Donald Trump’s executive order that directs agencies to assess and report on cyber risks.
“We began our goal to be listed on the GSA IT Schedule 70 days after the cybersecurity executive order was published on May 11, 2017,” said Cybernance CEO Mike Shultz.
Shultz added that Cybernance built its platform based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology‘s Cybersecurity Framework as part of efforts to help customer agencies evaluate their cybersecurity posture using the NIST CSF, as required by an executive order.
