Liliana Ortega, a former vice president and bid director at Balfour Beatty Investments, has joined Parsons as VP and senior bid director of the construction and engineering services firm’s enterprises segment.
She will oversee Parsons Enterprises’ efforts to identify investment opportunities, develop strategy and manage procurement and bids, the company said Monday.
“Liliana’s development and project management expertise in the North American and international markets will be valuable for both Parsons and our partners and government clients,” said Ruth McMorrow, president of Parsons Enterprises.
Ortega has more than 12 years of experience in infrastructure project development, delivery, construction and management, with a focus on public-private partnerships.
In her previous role, Ortega oversaw Balfour Beatty’s P3 pursuits in the social infrastructure and transportation sectors.
She previously served as a quality assurance officer at Skyway Concession Company and as project manager at Iridium Concesiones de Infraestructuras.
