DynCorp International has won a potential $53.8 million contract from the U.S. Navy to help the Naval Test Wing Pacific maintain different types of aircraft and support aircrew.
The Defense Department said Friday the company will provide organizational-level maintenance and logistics support services for the Navy’s P-3 Orion, C-130 Hercules, F/A-18 Hornet, E/A-18 Growler, AV-8B Harrier II, H-60 Black Hawk and T-39 Sabreliner platforms.
DynCorp will also supply aircrew systems, search-and-rescue equipment and support equipment under the contract.
The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division received four bids through a competitive procurement and obligated $21.1 million in fiscal 2017 Navy working capital funds at the time of award.
Contract work will occur in California and other locations across the U.S. through October 2018.
