Charles Stark Draper Laboratory has secured a five-year, $36.9 million contract perform technical and analytical services in support of the Missile Defense Agency‘s efforts to evaluate, maturate, integrate and test guidance, navigation and control technologies.
The Defense Department said Wednesday Draper Lab will also aid research analysis on sensors; modeling and simulation; radiation hardening and survivability; precision targeting and weapons development.
Work will occur in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Huntsville, Alabama, through July 31, 2022.
MDA obligated $240,000 in fiscal 2017 research and development funds at the time of award.
