AT&TÂ will continue to provide financial support, volunteer technical mentorships and in-kind network contributions to the Air Force Association’s CyberPatriot program as a Cyber Diamond sponsor.
The telecommunications company has supported the association’s national cyber education program for youth over the past seven years, AFA said Thursday.
“We have a continuing demand for cyber experts and leaders,” said Lance Spencer, director of Air Force strategy and solutions at AT&T.
“We are excited to team up with CyberPatriot in developing those leaders,†Spencer added.
AFA created the program with the goal to expand students’ interest in cybersecurity and science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
