Global investment and asset management company Meridiam has added Antony Blinken, former U.S. deputy secretary of state and deputy national security adviser, as a member of its supervisory board.
He worked in senior foreign policy roles under two presidential administrations over a two-decade period, Meridiam said Tuesday.
Thierry Deau, founder and chairman of Meridiam, said that Blinken’s geopolitical expertise and international relations experience will aid the company’s missions.
Blinken currently serves as managing director at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement as well as Hertzer/Nitze Distinguished Scholar at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
He also joined the advisory board at Washington, D.C.-based business advisory and communications firm Laurel Strategies in March.
