Dell Technologies‘ RSA subsidiary has obtained Common Criteria certification from the National Security Agency-managed National Information Assurance Partnership for the company’s identity and access management platform.
RSA said Wednesday its Identity Governance and Lifecycle 7.0 platform has met requirements outlined in version 2.1 of NIAP’s Protection Profile for Enterprise Security Management-Identity and Credential Management.
The platform is designed to help government and other enterprise clients manage identity-based risks and make decisions related to security.
“Knowing who has access to data and applications, how they received that access and having an audit trail to prove it is appropriate access is critical to ensuring organizations are managing their identity risks – especially in today’s constantly changing technical landscape,” said Jim Ducharme, vice president of identity products at RSA.
Ducharme added the Common Criteria designation reflects the potential of RSA’s technology to help public and private sector customers address identity risk and control access challenges.
