MDA to Deliver Comms Subsystem for Sierra Nevada Cargo Delivery Spacecraft - top government contractors - best government contracting eventMacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates has secured a multimillion dollar contract from Sierra Nevada Corp. to deliver a communications subsystem for spacecraft SNC is developing under NASA‘s Commercial Resupply Services-2 program.

MDA said Wednesday its communications subsystem will work to provide on-board communication signal processing support for the Dream Chaser spacecraft.

Dream Chaser is slated to perform six cargo delivery missions to the International Space Station from 2020 to 2024 as part of the CRS-2 program.

SNC selected United Launch Alliance‘s Atlas V rocket to launch Dream Chaser for the first two missions to ISS in 2020 and 2021.
