Lisa Disbrow, former undersecretary of the U.S. Air Force, and Mary Louise Krakauer, former executive vice president and chief information officer at Dell, have been appointed to the board of directors at Mercury Systems.
The latest appointments bring the number of Mercury Systems’ board members to nine, including eight independent directors, the company said Thursday.
Mark Aslett, president and CEO of Mercury Systems, said both appointees have previous experience in providing insights and counsel to the Defense Department and technology companies.
Disbrow oversaw equipment, organization and training of approximately 660,000 U.S. active-duty, civilian, guard and reserve airmen worldwide in her previous role as Air Force undersecretary.
The retired colonel also served as the military branch’s acting secretary from January to May 2017 and prior to that she was the assistant secretary for financial management and comptroller.
Krakauer previously held various leadership roles at data storage vendor EMC before its merger with Dell last year to form enterprise information technology firm Dell EMC.
Her EMC career has included time as EVP and chief information officer; EVP of business development for the global enterprise services business; and EVP of global human resources.
She also held positions at Hewlett-Packard, Compaq Computer and Digital Equipment.
