Matthew McFadden, former CSRA chief technologist for the Defense Innovation Cell, has been promoted to cybersecurity service area director at the Falls Church, Virginia-based company’s digital consulting group.
The 13-year information technology veteran helped deliver services to Defense Department customers and supported the Defense Cyber Investigations Training Academy program of CSRA’s Defense Cyber Crime Center in his previous role, the company said Monday.
George Batsakis, chief growth officer of CSRA, said McFadden will lead the company’s efforts to expand cyber service offerings for the government sector.
McFadden previously worked as manager of information management and a senior distinguished technologist at Computer Sciences Corp., which spun off its former U.S. government business and merged that unit with SRA International to form CSRA in 2015.
He also held the role of network administrator at Ingersoll Rand and QSI.
