Fortinet Intros Threat Intell Service for Cybersecurity Execs

Fortinet has debuted a threat intelligence service offering designed to help cybersecurity leaders monitor global threat trends and cyber risks facing their enterprises.

The cloud-based FortiGuard threat intelligence platform works to provide threat metrics and activity trends to boost chief information security officers’ cyber situational awareness, Fortinet said Monday.

The service uses data from the FortiGuard Labs team composed of more than 200 researchers who analyze data from approximately three million sensors worldwide.

FortiGuard is also designed to show the most active applications, intrusion prevention signatures, malware and botnets in various industries to help users compare threat trends.
