CSRA President and CEO Larry Prior has joined a coalition of chief executives that aims to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
Prior is now part of the CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion comprising more than 270 corporate leaders who have pledged to help their companies develop a workplace culture that encourages discussions on diversity and inclusion, CSRA said Tuesday.
“Taking the pledge to advance diversity and inclusion practices – both within our own walls and outside of them – is the next step in our commitment to building an inclusive culture at CSRA in which all employees can bring their whole selves and have the opportunity to thrive,” said Prior.
The coalition supports information sharing and collaboration on actions that can help build diverse and inclusive workplace environments via the CEOAction.com website.
The group will hold the first CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion Summit in November to encourage signatories to follow through on their pledge, share actions and develop additional commitments.
Prior, an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2017, has led CSRA as its president and CEO since November 2015.
He previously held various leadership roles at Computer Sciences Corp.‘s North American public sector, BAE Systems‘ U.S. subsidiary, Science Applications International Corp. and ManTech International.
