Comtech Telecommunications‘ command and control technologies group has secured a $14.5 million contract option from the Defense Information Systems Agency to provide Ku-band services for the U.S. Marine Corps‘ satellite network.
DISA exercised the fourth-year option on a previously awarded contract for continued support to the military branch’s Tactical Satellite Communications Network, Comtech said Wednesday.
The company received the order via the DISA and General Services Administration‘s Custom SATCOM Solutions contract vehicle under the Future Commercial SATCOM Acquisition program.
Work covers the delivery of commercial satellite services to multiple terminals designed to help expand the Marine Corps Enterprise Network that supports deployed users.
Comtech Command & Control Technologies will perform work from August 1, 2017 through July 31, 2018.
