CDI to Support Naval Surface Forces Pacific Under SeaPort-e Task Order - top government contractors - best government contracting eventCDI Corp. has secured a potential five-year, $38 million task order from the U.S. Navy to deploy subject matter experts who will support the Commander of the Naval Surface Forces Pacific.

The company said Monday it will assemble a readiness assistance team to provide sailor-centric engineering and combat systems training, review materials, audit programs and support naval readiness efforts under the task order.

Joseph Barbano, president of CDI’s government services business, said the company’s RAT members will work closely with sailors to support the Navy fleet.

The goal of the team is to help increase CNSP ships’ readiness to carry out sustained at-sea operations.

The task order was awarded through the Seaport-e contract vehicle.
