An Aquabotix-built unmanned underwater vehicle is now available for purchase on General Services Administration contract vehicles, Naval Today reported Tuesday.
Aquabotix’s Endura UUV platform has been approved for federal, state and local government procurement via the GSA Schedule and GSA Advantage contract vehicles.
“Inclusion on the GSA Schedule and in the GSA Advantage catalog now allows for shorter-cycle, pre-approved procurement of the company’s uncustomized Endura product by the U.S. federal government, state and local agencies,” said Durval Tavares, Aquabotix CEO.
“Government employees with appropriate authority can now purchase an unmanned underwater vehicle from Aquabotix.”
Aquabotix offers underwater camera systems, professional, recreational and hybrid remote operated vehicles for aquaculture, defense, environmental assessment, infrastructure, law enforcement, oil and gas, recreational and research applications.
