Washington-based think tank New America has unveiled the inaugural members of its Public Interest Technology Fellows program that aims to establish a long-term framework for leaders, service providers and advocates to serve communities with technology.
New America said Wednesday public and private sector professionals will comprise the organization’s newly formed Public Interest Tech Team.
The group is led by Cecilia Munoz, vice president of policy and technology at New America and former director of the White House Domestic Policy Council.
Vivian Graubard, a founding member of the U.S. Digital Service and an adviser to former Federal Chief Technology Officer Todd Park will serve as director of strategy of the initiative.
