Ninety-five percent of the purchases will come from the Navy and the remaining five percent will come from the Australian government under the foreign military sales program.
Work will occur in Rhode Island, Connecticut, Georgia, California, Hawaii, Maryland, Virginia, Washington, Guam, Japan and Western Australia.
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division received three offers for the contract and obligated $7,500 at time of award from the service branch’s fiscal 2017 “other” procurement funds.
