The U.S. Navy has awarded Moog a potential five-year, $50 million contract to repair 26 items for the U.S. Navy‘s F-18 aircraft fleet.
Moog will perform work under the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through June 2022 at various locations in California, Florida and New York, the Defense Department said Monday.
DoD noted the Navy will obligate fiscal 2017 working capital funds upon issuance of individual delivery orders.
New York-based Moog designs, manufactures and integrates precision motion control technologies intended for use with military and commercial aircraft, launch vehicles, satellites and spacecraft, missiles, industrial machinery, medical equipment, wind energy systems and marine platforms.
