The Labor Department has sought information on potential contractors that can provide Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program-certified cloud hosting services for the Employee Benefits and Security Administration’s public disclosure platform.
DOL said in a FedBizOpps notice posted Friday the ERISA Public Disclosure System is a database application that contains 12 terabytes of data that include form 5500 submissions, pdf files and images.
EBSA plans to award a firm-fixed-price contract that has a one-year base term and four option years and will ask vendors to develop a search tool for the cloud storage platform.
DOL will require potential contractors to provide management services for operating systems, software servers, hardware, hypervisors and network infrastructure, operations management services and customer support for internal client bases.
Potential vendors should also provide a web-based interface that could be remotely accessed by users to create document schemas, view the search domain’s collective operational status, run test queries and see the query results.
Responses to the sources sought notice are due June 21.
