Gigamon has launched its visibility platform on Amazon Web Services‘ GovCloud environment to help public sector organizations manage and secure sensitive data and regulated workloads.
Gigamon said Tuesday the availability of the Visibility offering builds on the company’s push to offer first-to-market services in the AWS Cloud as well as efforts to achieve a public sector partner status with AWS.
AWS GovCloud is designed to help government organizations host proprietary data such as financial, personally identifiable and controlled unclassified information.
Dennis Reilly, vice president of public sector operations at Gigamon, said that Gigamon Visibility for AWS GovCloud will help customer agencies strengthen the cybersecurity of their cloud, physical and virtual environments.
