A team composed of Boeing subsidiaries Tapestry Solutions and Jeppesen has secured a potential five-year, $28 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide executive airlift flight dispatch services to the Air Mobility Command.
Tapestry said Wednesday the team will help AMC transport very important persons such as the U.S. president, vice president, first lady, cabinet leaders, Congress members, senior military leaders and foreign dignitaries to global destinations.
The contract also covers mission planning services, enroute flight monitoring, diplomatic clearances, weather assessments, navigation database management, training and ongoing technical support.
The Tapestry-Jeppesen team will carry out services for the Air Force’s “covered aircraft” fleet that includes multiple Boeing platforms.
