Leidos has been included in LinkedIn’s 50 Top Companies list for 2017 in recognition of the Reston, Virginia-based defense contractor’s employee recruitment and retention efforts.
The company landed the 31st spot in the list that was released after LinkedIn examined data related to company reach, job applications and employee retention as well as actions by the professional social network’s more than 500 million members, Leidos said Thursday.
Roger Krone, Leidos chairman and CEO and an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s Wash100 for 2017, said the company works to retain and attract employees in the areas of information technology, science and engineering.
“I’m incredibly proud for Leidos to once again make a list that highlights our company culture and talented employees,†he added.
Some of the programs that Leidos implements include Employee Resource Groups to help build up relationships and Massive Open Online Courses that seek to advance skills development among employees.
Leidos ranked 36 in LinkedIn’s inaugural list of top 40 companies in 2016.
