Douglas Smith, a former assistant secretary for the private sector at the Department of Homeland Security, has joined advisory firm ENODO Global as a member of its board of advisers.
ENODO said Tuesday Smith has coordinated private-sector partnerships with all 22 DHS divisions as part of his responsibilities at the department.
He also represented DHS on the U.S. president’s travel and tourism advisory and export promotion boards as well as the White House Business Council under the Obama administration.
Smith currently serves as a managing partner at public affairs company Kent Strategies as well as a board member at First Global Data, FidoTV Channel and Rosenzweig & Company.
