TheÂ Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency will host aÂ Proposers Day on May 16 in Arlington, Virginia, to discuss a program that aims to develop mobile technology to assess warfighters’ health condition and combat readiness.
DARPA said May 2 theÂ Warfighter Analytics using Smartphones for Health program seeks to useÂ data from cellphone sensors to developÂ algorithms that can runÂ passive, continuous and real-time assessment of military personnel.
WASH participants will work to createÂ algorithms and techniques to identifyÂ known indicators of physiological issues as well asÂ irregularitiesÂ with warfighters’Â micro-behaviors that could indicate healthÂ problems.
DARPA plansÂ to outlineÂ anticipated proposal requirements for the WASH broad agency announcementÂ and answer questions from potential partnersÂ during theÂ Proposers Day.
