Paul Smith, senior vice president and general manager of Red Hat‘s North American public sector business, has received the Institute for Excellence in Sales’ 2017 Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his leadership and strategic vision in sales.
IES said Tuesday it will present the award during the 7th Annual Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony June 6 in line with efforts to promote corporate and organizational sales excellence.
“The IES Lifetime Award Selection Committee is thrilled to recognize Paul Smith at the 2017 recipient of the award,” said Fred Diamond, executive director of IES.
“Paul continues the tradition of recognizing highly accomplished corporate sales leaders who have led world-class teams and have succeeded at the highest levels throughout their distinguished careers.”
Smith, an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2017, commended the members of his team for their support to Red Hat’s sales efforts.
IES noted that Art Richer, former CEO of immixGroup and 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award winner, will hand over the award to Smith as part of the IES tradition.
