Denise Turner Roth, former administrator of the General Services Administration, has joined engineering and professional services firm WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff as a senior adviser.
Roth will be part of the company’s consulting team that will work to assist clients in both public and private sectors in their energy and infrastructure projects, WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff said Friday.
“Denise brings to WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff, extensive experience in building services, technology transformation for the federal government, community relations, public private partnerships, and policy work in economic development,†said John Porcari, president of the company’s U.S. advisory services.
Roth is a two-decade public sector veteran who spent two years at GSA, where she oversaw 12,000 employees and a $27 billion budget for the agency’s technology service initiatives, federal acquisition and public buildings services.
She previously worked as city manager in Greensboro, North Carolina, before she moved to GSA in 2015.
Roth is a fellow to the National Academy of Public Administration and is former vice president for governmental affairs at the Greensboro Partnership.
Her appointment comes as the company prepares to change its name to WSP in May as part of a rebranding effort.
WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff is a provider of urban planning, environmental remediation and building engineering support services and operates with approximately 36,700 employees across 40 countries.
