Former Honeywell Exec Pete Costa Named as Jensen Hughes’ Global Operations President

Pete Costa, a former vice president and general manager at Honeywell‘s building solutions business, has joined Jensen Hughes as president of global operations at the Baltimore, Maryland-based fire protection systems and engineering consulting services provider.

Jensen Hughes said Tuesday Costa brings more than 25 years of general management and operations experience in the fields of safety, regulatory compliance and security to his new role.

He will be responsible for overseeing the company’s efforts to grow workforce and identify revenue opportunities in the global market.

In his prior role, he managed the installation and maintenance of safety, energy efficiency and security platforms for Honeywell customers across the Middle East, Russia, Turkey, Central Asia and Africa as VP/GM of its building solutions unit.

Costa also previously led Honeywell’s business operations in Europe, Africa and the U.K.

He also worked at General Electric‘s consumer finance Americas’ unit, MicroWareHouse Gov/Ed and Mckinsey & Co.
